David Paterson

Mr. David Paterson is currently the Assistant Vice President for Research Translation and Commercialization at Colorado State University, where he manages strategic industry relationships. In addition, he brings broad biopharmaceutical industry knowledge, having worked for Impax Laboratories (Nasdaq: IPXL) in both Europe and North America, where he provided leadership and board support to the business development team for 10 years until its acquisition by Amneal Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: AMRX). Prior to Impax, Mr. Paterson held senior roles at Sepracor (Sunovion), GSK, and Skyepharma. He is also a cofounder of Neurogastrx, Inc., where he helped bring in early-stage capital. Mr. Paterson has a bachelor of science from the University of Glasgow and a PhD from the University of Illinois and was a post-doctoral fellow in molecular genetics and cellular biology at the University of Chicago.
