Sernova to Present at Rodman & Renshaw Annual Global Investment Conference

Dr. Toleikis will provide an overview of the Company's business strategy and the ongoing Phase I/II clinical trial of the Cell Pouch(TM) with insulin-producing islets in patients with Type-1 diabetes.

The Cell Pouch(TM) is a proprietary medical device that, following subcutaneous implantation, incorporates with tissue and microvessels forming a natural environment for transplantation of therapeutic cells. Multiple preclinical studies demonstrated the Cell Pouch(TM) to provide a safe environment for transplantation, as well as long- term efficacy of therapeutic cells.
